Agropolis foundation was asked to support the arrival of different participants (teachers, students, researchers from poorer countries). This funding was associated with several other funding from other donors to support the participation of students and researchers from less favored countries.
The conference was attended by nearly 1,000 people, nearly two hundred sessions were organized. A master class was attended by nearly 150 students from many countries. The conference mixed artisitic performances and scientific presentations. On May 5 sessions "off site sessions" were held Monday,linking the participants to local stakeholders.
Four documents that reflect the conference will be produced under the responsibility of the organizing committee: a four-page document, a ten-page document, and a book.
