MEDI-PALMS 2010: Organisation of an international conference on Mediterranean palms

• Publication in 2011 of a special "Palms" edition of the Annals of Botany "Palms" consisting of 11 articles written by Palms 2010 participants
• At the European level, the annual EUNOPS (European Network of Palm Scientists) meeting will be held in St Petersbourg, Russia in April 2011
• Following discussions at the Montpellier Palms symposium, the next world "Palms" meeting will be held in 2015, in Denmark (to be confirmed)

• From the Montpellier perspective, the various collaborations initiated or reinforced thanks to the Palms 2010 symposium will be pursued in the coming years
