The International Congress of Horticultural Sciences (IHC) will be held in Angers from 14 to 20 August 2022. Placed under the aegis of the ISHS, it is held every 4 years on a different continent. It will be held for the second time in France, since 1951.
The Congress is dedicated to horticulture in the broadest sense of the term, i.e. all fruit, vegetable, aromatic, medicinal, floral and landscape production. Welcoming up to 3,000 participants from all over the world, the ambition this year will be to strengthen the French-speaking participation and that of low-income countries, in a spirit of the most varied and open exchanges possible. With the triptych Research-Training-Business as the major axis of the congress, a special place will be given to young students, researchers or professionals.
An international thesis competition, "my thesis in 3 minutes" sponsored by Agropolis Fondation, will also take place on August 19.
